Cordless Window Shades

Cordless window shades are an excellent choice as window treatments for the home. They're safer for families with small children and pets. The problem with long dangling cords on window shades are that kids and pets can get tangled up in them and this can result in injury or at times even death.

It is always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to safety in the home. After all, there is no way that you can watch kids every second of every day. In a matter of minutes kids can get themselves into a lot of trouble.

Cordless window shades also look more attractive than window shades with cords. Some people see window cords as unsightly and believe that they are simply unnecessary. Not to mention when you open the windows to get some fresh air that the cords get tangled as soon as the first wind blows through.

Many people see cordless window shades as being more convenient and easier to operate, since all you have to do is push up or pull down at the bottom of the shade. Standard window shades are made with a spring loaded mechanism.

Additionally, there are a few other ways to operate cordless window shades and they are the continuous cord loop, which resembles a pulley, wand control (tube that turns), and last but not least motorized window shades.
